The brewing process in beer making is 15 day operation from malt extraction to beer bottling. During this process from the first day of the HOT WORT cooling to the final day bottling beer is continuously under refrigeration. This mandates a heavy duty cooling system operation which is robust in design. The chilling system is required for cooling and maintaining the beer of 15 days production at various stages of processing such as fermentation, full cooling, laagering and filtration.
This complexity of process also calls for highly varying capacity of the system operation from low as 10 % to 100% capacity in cooling. A study and understanding of this process encouraged us to do extensive R & D and design a very suitable automation system for efficiently operating the cooling system for required capacity of the day.
