Process Automation
For most of the food processing industries energy and transportation are the key factors in the end cost of the product and is of vital nature. Cost control on energy is one of the major keys to profitability. We have focused on designing suitable process automation systems for energy savings eliminating major manual intervention, operating all the equipments at the required capacity for optimum performance.
Employing thousands of workers for a single process was the phenomenon that was observed during the onset of industrial revolution. However the introduction of machines simplified the industrial processes. In this condition also, workers were required to effectively handle these machines. Technology advanced to a greater extent that mechatronic systems started to handle these machines. This marked the onset of ‘automation’. At present, almost all the machines are automated. This increases the efficiency & decreased the processing time in a considerable manner. No wonder, these systems are now in high demand.
An automation system contains various controllers, sensors, actuators and operator terminals. The process automation systems are now mostly associated with SCADA (supervisory control &data acquisition). Number of sensors kept at appropriate places collects the necessary information on quantities like pressure, temperature etc. This raw information is collected and stored in a computer. Analysis of the plant is done based on this data. Optimum performance of the plant can be achieved through this process.
Our R&D team is one among the front-runners in designing and implementing such automation systems. Be it milk processing or brewery processing, our automated equipments are ready to operate perfectly. These devices are designed in such a way that negligible failure is encountered.
