Cold Stores
We design ,supply and install cold stores for milk and milk products, fruits and vegetables and other perishable goods requiring storage under sub zero conditions. We have supplied various capacities of cold stores from 10 tonnes to 5000 tonnes . For milk and milk products we supply both Freon (R134a/R404a) and ammonia systems.
Several considerations are kept in mind while designing a cold storage:
- The required temperature and humidity changes per hour.
- Design of systems to suit varying loads of the cold stores so that system can be operated at lesser capacity for energy savings
- Use of embedded heaters and an appropriate floor finishes.
- Specifications of entry/exit doors/windows.
- Provision of an appropriate insulation. These include surface finishes and insulation filling.
- Capability to withstand the required cooling load.
- Provision of ancillaries like shelving, racking, lighting etc.
